Back at the Table – A New Beginning

It’s been a long few weeks.

After the house fire, I lost my big 4×3 custom gaming table, all my terrain, most of my painted minis, and a lot of the stuff I’d spent years collecting. Yesterday I watched the last of it get thrown into dumpsters. That one hurt.

But tonight I unrolled some mats on this little 2×4 table in the apartment… and for the first time in a while, it felt like I was home again.

Back at the table. Small setup, big meaning. This is where I start again.

It’s not fancy. It’s not the big setup I used to have. But it’s mine. The mats are down, the dice are out, and I can already feel the pull to start painting and creating again.

This is where I begin.

Small table. Small wins. One hex at a time.

I don’t know exactly what the future table will look like yet, but I know I’m going to build something I love and this time it’ll be on my own terms.

Thanks for sitting with me at the table.

Nathan
