Battle Systems Fantasy Dungeon | Why I Love This Terrain Set

I have been a huge fan of Battle Systems terrain for years, and the Fantasy Dungeon set was easily one of my favorites.

I actually bought two of these core sets back in the day. Each one comes with a really nice 24″x24″ gridded gaming mat, which was perfect for building bigger layouts on my old 4×3 table. The modular walls, floors, stairs, bridges, and ruins click together however you want and give you tons of flexibility.

What I love most is that everything is pre-printed and pre-painted on high-quality card stock. No painting required. You just pop the pieces out, assemble them (some smaller parts need glue), and you’re ready to play. The detail is surprisingly good for terrain that comes flat-packed.

Even after losing my collection in the fire, this is still one of the first big terrain sets I want to buy again. It just brings the table to life. If you’re looking for good-looking, easy-to-use dungeon terrain, I can genuinely recommend this set.
