This is my living solo hex-crawl journal; a raw, dice-driven survival story set in a brutal and beautiful world.
After my house burned down, I lost almost everything… including my big gaming table. While waiting to rebuild, I started this campaign with nothing but dice, paper, and a small table in a hotel room. What began as a way to keep creating slowly turned into something more meaningful.
Follow Finnley Reed (a simple farmer thrust into chaos), Captain Salt (a hardened sailor), and Lila Moss (a shepherd girl with a cursed blade) as they are scattered by fire, storm, and sea. Every session is played and written in real time; no prep, no safety net, just pure improvisation and the roll of the dice.
The map grows only when the story demands it. The characters bleed, doubt, make mistakes, and sometimes find unexpected strength.
This isn’t just a campaign. It’s a record of rebuilding after everything falls apart; one desperate hex at a time.
New sessions are added as they’re lived.
Current Story – Finnley Reed watched his village burn. Now he, Captain Salt, and Lila Moss are scattered across a merciless world of jagged coasts, ancient ruins, and dangerous seas. Their story is unfolding one desperate hex at a time.
The Party – Meet the three souls at the heart of the journey:
- Finnley Reed – A young farmer turned reluctant adventurer
- Captain Salt – A tough, battle-hardened sailor
- Lila Moss – A shepherd girl carrying a cursed obsidian dagger
The Map – A living, growing hex map. New areas are only revealed when the dice decide. Every session expands the world and deepens the danger.
How It Works – This is a solo hex-crawl played and written in real time. I roll the dice, draw the map, and write what happens; no prep, no safety net. The story is shaped by random rolls and pure improvisation.
